If you ask for Arno’s favorite sound in life, he will say for sure that he can’t chose between Cicadas or Swallow chants.
But here, it is definitely all about Swallow - Hirondelles in french - and that moment in the evening, at the beginning of the hot season in Provence, when these birds fly all together, screaming in the streets of the village, whirling around between the church bell tower and the plane trees. As true as the Cicadas are the sound of summer, Swallow are definitely the sound of spring, when the longest days give us the most beautiful sunsets...

HIRONDELLES is all about this, from the sound and modulations of the synthesizers, to the strings arrangement, everything has been conceived to describe that birdy beautiful moment, in a form of a tribute.

Arno’s original version is a mid tempo, slow progression of enlightened melodies, starting with a melancholic pad and a synthetic interpretation of the Swallow chant, followed by fresh synth hits and a soft metallic percussion pattern, true to the sweetness of that special moment.

The Franck Roger remix keeps the vibe and sweetness of HIRONDELLES, but is turning it into a dope mellow and balearic house track, full of Franck’s typical dub FXs with a catchy bass line, but always with a special place for emotion.
